The Vibe

• Tiki maximalism done right: Inflated puffer fish dangle from the thatched bamboo ceiling while three gigantic tiki heads keep watch from behind the jarrah bar. Damask wallpaper and bamboo-framed portraits line the walls, with light fittings that wouldn't look out of place in an old Waikiki motel.
• Intimate but not cramped: The 60-seat space manages to feel cosy without being claustrophobic. The crowd tends to be groups settling in for the night rather than quick-drink types, drawn by the cocktails served in glazed vessels depicting shrunken heads and conch shells.
• David Lynch easter eggs: Twin Peaks fans will spot the references scattered throughout, culminating in the back hallway kitted out in red velvet curtains and black-and-white chevron tiles - a perfect recreation of the show's famous red room.

The Neighbourhood

• Mid-Enmore Road positioning: Sits at 154 Enmore Road in the strip between the train station and King Street, walking distance from Earl's Juke Joint which shares the same owners. The location puts you in the thick of Enmore's bar scene without the King Street crowds.
• Inner west tiki outpost: One of the few dedicated tiki bars in Sydney's inner west, drawing cocktail enthusiasts from across the area who might otherwise head to the city for this style of drinking. The venue has become a neighbourhood fixture since opening in 2017.
